Installation kit Q&A
Do I need an installation kit?
Most customers don't require an install kit to install Nautilus in their homes. We recommend install kits for customers who have heavily textured walls that can't readily accept the self-adhesive on each numeral, and for customers who wish to use screws to install the wall base. Otherwise, the numerals and wall base are self-adhesive and simply peel-and-stick to the wall surface.
What's included in the installation kit?
Each installation kit includes a 28 mL bottle of non-toxic adhesive, two Toggler SPM® drywall anchors, two #6 stainless steel screws, and a 3/16" (4.76 mm) drill bit for drywall anchor drilling, plus English instructions.
If I use the installation kit, can I remove the numerals and wall base?
In our testing for the numerals installed using the FlexCore 14 adhesive, careful removal of the numerals using a heat gun or hairdryer should leave minimal paint damage, although glue installations should be considered more permanent than installations using the self-adhesive. Using the drywall anchor and screws will leave a 0.25 in (6 mm) hole after removing the drywall anchor.
Can I purchase the installation kit separately?
Definitely! Simply go to the Nautilus store page, scroll to the bottom, and click on "Parts & Accessories", or
